Welcome!
Hello everyone!
I'm Sam and I welcome you to my blog. Depending on the time you're visiting, the whole website might look utterly different, but as of writing this text, it is a bit of a mess. The thing is, I just cannot wait any longer. Despite how ugly and unusable the site might be at the moment, I really want it to be a thing already. At least by committing to it, I cannot put it off for later and procrastinate for another few months. So I brushed up on my long forgotten HTML/CSS knowledge and conjured this thing.
As I said, welcome, and I hope you'll eventually like this little corner of the world wide web. I'm sure you're wondering what is this site even about? Well... only the thing that's dearest to me, The Great Outdoors! I grew up in close contact with nature and I always maintained a very positive relations with it. Heck, I even believe that of all things, nature and my love for it is what impacted me the the most. Because of it, I am who I am. And I want to spread this love and admiration with the world.
At the same time, I miss what the internet used to be back in the days. Now it feels like a hellhole swarmed by bots and corporate greed. But before, and correct me if it's just nostalgia talking, it felt like it had more personality to it. Of course, me being a 2000's kid, I don't remember the peak when it was a blooming pond of personal sites, people were making just to talk about things they like. But I do remember encountering some blogs when I was young and I miss it. And this longing for the age of personal sites is also one of the reasons why I decided to make my own.
Alright. I am bad at explaining things, so I'm sorry this text sucks. I hope that as the site grows, it'll be able to speak for itself.
For now, take care folks :)
